Meet Krista Fruehauf, Guest of EP 2
/I completed my B.S. in Physiology at University of California, Santa Barbara (go Gauchos!). While I was there I realized I actually loved organic chemistry and worked in the lab of Prof Javier Read de Alaniz. I then continued with chemistry at UC Irvine with Prof Kenneth Shea. While in graduate school I have found some solace in rock climbing, yoga, and acro yoga. Another source of comfort is my cat, Grace, who enjoys cuddling up to me as I read or stream shows after a long day in lab. I've also recently started a YouTube channel with my fellow graduate student and best friend, Megan Newcomb. It's called Explained by Nerds and you can also find us on Instagram under @explainedbynerds. Our goal is to enlighten the public through science about different fads and pop science.
